Christopher Neumann, F.I.L.M.A.M.’s original Executive Producer, began his professional career in the corporate world, then in 2008 he shifted careers to explore his creative talents. He is the founder and organizer of the The Asheville Hiking Group with over 8700 members. When he isn’t meeting random strangers on the internet and leading them into the backwoods of Western North Carolina (it’s not as creepy as it sounds), he is passionately exploring his creativity. He has accomplished this through large scale technical projects involving film production, digital photography, computer programming, electrical engineering and script writing. His talent with both the technical and creative sides of film production combined with his strong management skills led him to form Asheville Video Alliance, a 501c3 non-profit video production company. With the contacts and resources he’s amassed over the years he was able to create his own “film school experience” by venturing into the world of narrative filmmaking He finished his first full length feature film in 2016 with the assistance of over 100 members in the community.
